[VirtualBox] VMSVGA is very unstable

I'm running Arch Linux under an Arch Linux host. Latest VirtualBox version is installed - 7.0.14, and guest additions on the guest are up to date.

KDE's loading screen lags a lot, and after booting there's a 50% chance it would just freeze and refuse to render the next frame.

I see this error spammed in logs:

[drm:vmw_msg_ioctl [vmwgfx]] *ERROR* Failed to open channel.

xf86-video-vmware is installed, as it is a dependency of the virtualbox guest additions package.

Is there a known fix for issues like this, or should I provide further debugging information?
