"Quiet Splash" softlocks system and new warning after update

After updating to the latest Linux 6.6.20-1 LTS kernel, I can no longer boot the system using the "quiet splash" boot argument and when booting in verbose mode some strange warnings now appear in blue claiming my BIOS is broken?
I already checked if other people had the same issue and some of the replies think this has something to do with virtualization/passthrough and should be disabled if not needed. But I use KVM hardware passthrough all the time with no problems.
So I don't know what that has to do with the problem.

ASUS no longer provides new BIOS firmware updates for my B360-PLUS so updating is out of the question.

DMAR: [Firmware Bug]: No firmware reserved region can cover this RMRR [0x000000003e2e0000-0x000000003e2fffff], contact BIOS vendor for fixes

DMAR: [Firmware Bug]: Your BIOS broken; bad RMRR [0x000000003e2e0000-0x000000003e2fffff]

BIOS vendor: American Megatrends Inc,; Ver: 3101; Product Version: System Version

EDIT: Okay, i  found out that the "softlock" issue may be caused by a broken Plymouth update.
