[SOLVED] Gtk apps broken on Plasma 6 with Wayland

Hello everyone.
I updated to Plasma 6 which enabled Wayland by default. Gtk apps are broken on Wayland on this install.
The minimize and maximize buttons disappear in Firefox. The cursor changes to a black high-contrast one when hovering over Gtk apps.
The Gtk theming settings don't seem to do anything anymore, all reverting to the default look which is inconsisten with the Plasma breeze theme.
This last problem also extends to an x11 session, whereas the other two are limited to Wayland.

I have already run another update and reinstalled gtk, xdg-desktop-portal-gtk, breeze-gtk, kde-gtk-config, xdg-desktop-portal-kde, and breeze, to no avail.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve these problems?

Deleting ~/.config/{gtkrc,gtkrc-2.0,gtk-2.0,gtk-3.0,gtk-4.0} might help, this will delete your gtk settings.
Go to system settings -> session -> background service, make sure Gnome/GTK settings sync is enabled.
Or you can try to switch to another GTK theme and then switch back, this might hopefully overwrite some incompatible settings.

Thank you. Deleting config files didn't end up being necessary - the issue resolved itself after changing the Gtk theming settings back and forth a dozen or so times. Plasma moment.

I deleted all plasma config files and set it up from scratch it works. I had to do this from time to time.
