Blackbox issue

I have been using blackbox window manager for few years on arch Linux without any issue but recent update of blackbox package causes a weird issue
When I try to click any open window say a terminal or a file manager on desktop to close or minimize it , instead of getting that function achieved I get blackbox native function of " Iconified Windows" it so practically I can't close any open item i.e a file manager or a terminal or a browser on blackbox.

This might sound weird but anyone can test it on their end and verify

Something must be messed up in my settings of blackbox causing this

Don't want to ditch blackbox because of this annoying issue even openbox and other windows manager are out there as a replacement.

Would appreciate in sorting out this matter .

The last blackbox update was in october?
And that was a rebuild, the last version change was in may 2021… sure it's not your style or blackboxrc?

The last blackbox update was in october?
And that was a rebuild, the last version change was in may 2021… sure it's not your style or blackboxrc?

I checked blackboxrc , style , almost everything II could think of , nothing has changed , everything is same i.e which previously worked but this Iconified Windows popup when I click on any open window e.g a file manager , a terminal , a browser to closer or minimize it is something new and out of my understanding .

I dont know if it is allowed to post a third party link here but I found a link with similar issue explained but the solution given in it did not resolve my problem , I am posting this link here , may be someone can explain it further to me

You can link anything on topic.
That thread however discusses clicking the root window (the background) what seems expectable.

For clarification: the close/minimize buttons bring up this popup? It's not that the close button iconifies the window?
I'd check the button mapping and or whether a modifier is down

xev -event mouse

should tell you whether you're actually clicking the left button (1) unmodified (stat is 0x0 or  0x10, 10 is the numlock)
