Hello,
Recently installed Arch on a new laptop, and all the hardware apparently worked out of the box via the Gnome Desktop Interface, including fingerprint reader, touchscreen, etc. However, the screen did not rotate automatically, and I did not see a relevant device in /dev.
A few weeks on, I picked up the laptop and the screen rotated! There also appeared a toggle switch under the Gnome control panel.
On restart, however, both the screen rotation and toggle button stopped working / disappeared. A mystery.
I am at a loss as to what to do to fix this.
Any advice on how to enable accelerometer input would be appreciated.
