I suspect I did this to myself and I suspect I did it using debtap but I have the current version of python-markdown-it-py installed but if I run markdown-it --version it reports 2.2.0. Did some very preliminary investigating and found this:
pacman -Q python-markdown-it-py
python-markdown-it-py 3.0.0-1
markdown-it --version
markdown-it-py [version 2.2.0]
pacman -Q | grep markdown
markdownpart 24.02.0-1
python-markdown 3.6-1
python-markdown-it-py 3.0.0-1I've tried manually deleting the offending folders in site-packages and then just reinstalling the package but I can't seem to get rid of 2.2.0. I don't know how to proceed and I'm completely open to suggestions.
Edit: Nevermind, Found It! They hid it in ~/.local/lib/python3.11/site-packages

For future reference, which -a markdown-it-py will show you all the versions in your path in the order they would be selected.
