Help: wlan0 not found

Im trying to install arch for the first time on my desktop and seem to be running into an issue, when I boot up from the flash drive I try and run the iwctl command to set up my wifi however it doesnt detect my wifi adapter. I know my wifi works since i have windows installed on another partition so is there a way to fix this issue? any help would be appreciated

Check the output of lspci
Does your WiFi NIC show up there?

Re: Help: wlan0 not found

It is.  That NIC may not be supported by the as the firmware may not be present.
There are ways around that, but the easiest is to install Arch using a different Ethernet connection and install the drivers that way.   Do you have Wired Ethernet capability?  If not, you can USB tether a phone (it behaves like a wired Internet) and you can share the phone's internet (whether that is LTE or WiFi)

I do have Ethernet however it would require me to move my PC, I tried to connect my iPhone to my pc via usb but There was no change. Is there some setup I need to do?

See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/IPhone_tethering but I think that card only needs firmware for Bluetooth and it is already included on the ISO image.

Have you disabled "fast start" in Windows? That OS sometimes disables wireless cards when using the technique.
