I have a fresh installation of Arch 6.6.22-1-lts. I have noticed that the SDDM login screen will malfunction and not load when you reboot if you try to apply any theme other than the four built-in themes that come with the KDE Plasma 6 installation: Breeze, Elarun, Maldives, Maya. Asking if anyone else has noticed this behavior, and also raising awareness if a bug needs to be logged.

I have a similar problem. Fresh install of Arch, Plasma 6, NVIDIA + Wayland if it matters (I don't know, I'm a noob)
No SDDM work, except for Breeze. So, Elarun, Maldives, Maya, and installed SDDM themes don't work. I get stuck at a black screen with a mouse cursor, right before the login screen.
Luckily, I was able to identify the problem, boot my second OS, mount the drive, decrypt it, and edit /etc/sddm.conf.d/kde_settings.conf (+100 XP)
All themes seem to be installed in /usr/share/sddm/themes/
It's not a big deal, Breeze is fine. But I'm curious what could cause this. What additional info should I provide?
