[SOLVED] Arch freezes at high-intensity tasks

While performing any high-intensity task like accessing a VM on qemu or compiling using make or bmake (generally at - j 8 or above) my system freezes. I can't access the keyboard or touchpad at all, just can toggle the FnLock I guess because its indicator glows.

I have a pretty high specced laptop so I don't think it should be any resource issue:

OS: Arch Linux x86_64
Host: ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5
Kernel: 6.6.22-1-lts
DE: Plasma 6.0.2
WM: kwin
CPU: 12th Gen Intel i7-12700H (20) @ 4.600GHz
GPU: Intel Alder Lake-P GT2 [Iris Xe Graphics]
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile / Max-Q
Memory: 15693MiB
Storage: 512GiB NVMe

The log after one such freeze is: https://0x0.st/XrTR.txt

This is after I tried to replicate the freeze and it got triggered by me toggling Network Manager: https://0x0.st/XrT7.txt

I've been checking the memory and CPU usage using the bmake process (which triggered both these freezes) and they both seem decent, memory at around 13-14 GiB (on the second one it was 8) and CPU at 50-60%.

Why I run Arch? To "BTW I run Arch" the guy one grade younger.
And to let my siblings and cousins laugh at Arsch Linux...

Nope. Tried it. Doesn't help.

Re: [SOLVED] Arch freezes at high-intensity tasks

I tried many options, disabling numa, reformatting swap, checking the overclocking settings, using OOM etc. but it was the 550 version Nvidia driver causing the system to freeze. After I removed the driver completely and restored the settings (kernel options etc.), the issue was resolved. I used bmake with -j 10 while operating a VM at the same time (to stress the memory) but it pulled through. Marking the issue as solved.
