[SOLVED] Hidden part of GUI in some GTK application under XFCE

Hi,

Recently (2 or 3 weeks) I have two GUI applications: File-Roller and Zenity that doesn't show their content: button label and text are missing (or at least invisible).
However for File-roller if I click on invisible element, it appear.

As a picture is better than a lot of words here you are with Zenity. The follwing code:

$ zenity --title "Choose resize percentage" --entry --text "Accept default or change value" --entry-text "30"

produces this window:
QbIhfkp.png

Then the application is usable and works if you know which button correspond to 'ok' or 'cancel' action ;-).

Here the example with File-roller when opening the Arch linux ISO file :

Furthermore, if the File-roller window lost the focus, then all visible elements are invisible again and you must click on them to reveal their content.

Thinking it was a theme problem, I tried to change XFCE windows appearance back to the default theme, reboot or not: nothing change, the problem is still here.

Any clue to look for?

This fix the problem for me. Thanks for pointing me an existing topic (I can't find the right keyword to search the problem on the forum).
