beagled-helper going nuts...

Hey!

I have some issues with beagle. It seems to go nuts sometimes, specially after suspending the computer. When it starts up again, it uses almost 100%. My settings there are no indexing when running battery, and only the home directory...

I'm running the latest beyond kernel, gnome... all latest updates from repo.

thanks

Re: beagled-helper going nuts...

HI all,

I know this is a very old thread, but I am experiencing similar problems. Every session, about 10 minutes after logging into Gnome, beagled-helper seems to go absolutely bezerk for about 5 minutes, spinning the HD like mad and slowing down the system to a crawl. If I do not kill beagled-helper or beagled very quickly, even the mouse pointer does not move anymore.

Any ideas what might be causing this? I have disabled the option to index more aggressively while the system is on screensaver, but this did not change anything.

Thanks in advance for your help
