[SOLVED] Bluetooth Connection Issues in KDE desktop 6.8.2-zen2-1-zen

Hi, this is my first time in Arch Forum and I've looked in many posts for the solution but nothing.
I don't know why my bluetooth is dead.
Can anyone help me understand and solve the problem?
Thank you

Your bluetoothd service is running. Does bluetoothctl work? The only problem is that applet doesn't support wayland

You don't want blueman-applet anyway, KDE has bluedevil and that's integrated into plasma.

As for looking at many posts... you must have missed https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=294310&p=3 which identified a regression in the 6.8.2 kernel and there are a bunch of "good" bisected kernels and the relevant issues identified and will likely get fixed in future stable kernels, or use on of the reverts provided there.

Have you looked at the thread V1del linked and tested if the issue was introduced in 6.8.2 and if so by which commit?

I uninstalled Blueman and I have two kernels but it doesn't work on both.

Linux marale 6.8.2-zen2-1-zen
Linux marale 6.6.25-1-lts

Yes all of this is expected.. please read the linked thread and check the bisection kernels posted there. One part of that puzzle got fixed in 6.8.4 maybe check whether an upgrade to that already fixes things.

Re: [SOLVED] Bluetooth Connection Issues in KDE desktop 6.8.2-zen2-1-zen

Is the issue still present after you updated the kernel to linux-zen 6.8.4.zen1-1 and rebooted into that kernel?  If so is the issue present if you downgrade the kernel to linux-zen 6.8.1.zen1-1?

I only have these

linux-lts-6.6.25-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
linux-zen-6.8.2.zen2-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

I cleared the cache recently

Re: [SOLVED] Bluetooth Connection Issues in KDE desktop 6.8.2-zen2-1-zen

If a full system update `pacman -Syu` is not updating your system to newer versions of linux-lts / linux-zen then your system's primary mirror is out of sync and you could change it.  You can obtain older version of packages from the ALA.
