My computer just stoped booting; nvidia issue

I am very new to the Arch Linux forums. I don't know what I need to explain my problem. My issue is that I downloaded my Nvidia driver a couple of days ago, and my computer is fine. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Arch won't up anymore and I'll be forced to download another form of Nvidia drivers, and it will seem to work, but then steam won't start. This has happened before and was the reason I did a fresh reinstall twice. I don't want to do it again for a third time.

What did you do, exactly? Phrases like "downloaded my Nvidia driver" are too generic. "Arch won't up anymore" as well, what do you actually see?
