Boot installation stops after "triggering uevents" , screen goes black

My motherboard is asrock a320m-hdv r4.0 with with the latest bios (version L8.01). Basically when I try to boot arch linux installation image, boot installation stops after "triggering uevents" and screen goes black. https://youtu.be/iGcMY4cbMNg
Anyone has an idea what is going on?

Do you have an nvidia card? Try adding nomodeset to the kernel options.

Yes, but how do I add nomodeset to kernel options?

Press e when in the boot menu of the installation media
