Hard freeze with AMD 5600G (onboard GPU) when monitors go to sleep

Hi everyone,

I stepped away from my machine and after some time Gnome faded my monitors out and put them to sleep. The system itself didn't sleep however. Upon returning to the machine, the monitors wouldn't wake up and I had to force reboot. Here are the logs:

this log line show that you running 7C95vHA but the newest version is 7C95vHB with a "Fix D-Sub port can't be work properly with 3000G CPU."

i would make sure update to the latest version bios.

Thank you for your response. My CPU is a Ryzen 5600G, making it the 5000 series. Additionally, MSI appears to distribute a few different models of the same motherboard. In my case, I have the vHA variant, so my firmware is up to date.

You could also try 6.8.6 which I believe has three more amdgpu fixes.

Just to provide an update, I am on 6.8.6 and it still experiences this issue periodically. Log is the same as what I originally posted.
