Qualcomm QCA9937 driver is not working correctly

Hello everyone,

I have a laptop with a qca9937 wifi chip in it. The problem is, on windows 10 I would be getting around 300-400mbps download and upload. On any linux live cd or installation this speed will drop down to around 16-20mbps. With ethernet I get an amazing 920 Mbps down and up. How can I go about fixing this issue?

Re: Qualcomm QCA9937 driver is not working correctly

My QCA9565 BT chipset went AWOL a day or so ago. Doing a hard power-down by holding the power button for 10 seconds, followed by unplugging my PC from power for 30 seconds or so, resurrected BT, at least in Windows. I haven't checked in Arch, yet.

But how can I improve the download speed? It is really bad right now and takes ages to download things. Also just general internet use is spotty and inconsistent. When I used windows 10 on the exact same laptop, I was getting 3ms-4ms ping times to google.com stable and like 400mbps down and up. On linux I am getting around 16mbps down and up.
