How to change my sound card

I am unable to record my audio in obs studio and i want to change my sound card but i don't know what to do and how can i Check which sound card i am using write know , by the way i am using pulseaudio (on pipewire)

You want to change your soundcard what and where? You logically only have one. Do you have a dedicated mic and it's just recording from internal and or what's the issue? Which recording device do you pick in obs? What's your output for 

sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*
arecord -l
amixer -c2
pactl list sources
arecord -Dplughw:2 test.wav #Does the test wav result in a recording if you try to record
