USB port not working anymore on Lenovo Thinkpad Z13 Gen 2

Hello,

Today I noticed that my right usb 4.0 port on a Lenovo Thinkpad Z13 Gen 2 was not working anymore. I am not sure when was the last time it worked. It also does not work to charge the laptop, which, as far as I remember, it was.
I discovered this also because I could not connect to an external monitor today, which triggered all my investigations and made me discover that the right port does not work.

I have changed already a lot of things since I discovered this, so I may not be able to go back to the status I was a few days ago, that I think everything was working fine...
For instance, a few days ago I installed thinkfan and manually set the fan levels.
Yesterday I tried to make ROCm works, though, this morning I uninstalled everything I installed yesterday.
This morning I updated the BIOS from the factory version 1.12 to the latest 1.15 version.
This morning I also installed the linux-lts kernel in contrast to the 6.7.9 that I usually go for (I typically always use the latest kernel available in the repo, but in these past weeks I have not been using 6.8 because the touchpad is bugged in that version, and there are already a couple of posts about that in the forum).
I have found no difference with LTS, which I am currently running, as you can see from the inxi output down here.

Notice that in this post I am interested in figuring out what is going on with the usb port; I will tackle the external display problem afterwards. Just for clarity, I am not able to use an external display also with the currently working usb port...

Re: USB port not working anymore on Lenovo Thinkpad Z13 Gen 2

Nevermind, I fixed the problem following the solution posted here:
https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-Z … -p/5174833

It seems that the issue was not really related to Arch Linux, but rather the laptop itself.
