Wondering if anyone has encountered an issue where the brightness on my monitor will dim considerably (30-50%) if the majority of the content on the screen is darker - i.e. dark mode. This is not a monitor specific issue as it just started happening within the last 6 months or so. Plus my monitor has no such auto-dim controls.
The closest I've been able to find is related to a setting in Nvidia's control panel called Dynamic Contrast (Also seen "Dynamic Color Enhancement")

I realize this forum might not be the most appropriate, but figured if anyone knew a way to tweak these settings (I don't see them in nvidia-settings), it would be someone here.
