KDE + gamescope, can't get the game to run in fullscreen

It seems some recent upgrades broke it, I have played THE FINALS on Arch smoothly for 3 months, setting the steam launch option:

gamescope -W 2560 -H 1440 -r 144 -f -e --force-grab-cursor -- mangohud %command%

But now the taskbar always stays in the front

This game uses EAC, but the first EAC window is fullscreened properly. only the second game window can't run in fullscreen. Maybe other EAC games also have this problem?  Thanks for any help!

I can just select the fullscreen in the taskbar menu and it works, but it doesn't really solve the problem
