Freeze

Didnt know where to put this, could be under laptop to.
This is my problem, my system freezes almost randomly.
I have read a little bit about it but cant find anything useful.
Ive tried "pci=usepirqmask" but it still freezes.
My "feeling" is that it freezes when i "tab" in xterm to get the next dir.
Cant figure out whats wrong.

I have a HP Pavilion DV6000 series.
Very annoying problem.
