Stuck at an Acer logo screen after Plymouth animation finished

When I turn on the laptop it gets stuck in the Acer UEFI logo after Plymouth finishes playing the animation. This problem started to happen after I created a drop-in snippet for display-manager.service with this command:

systemctl edit display-manager.service --drop-in=plymouth.conf

And added the code mentioned in the Arch Wiki article about Plymouth smooth transition to the display manager. I don't know what mistake I could have done, I use SDDM and I wanted to try what I saw in the previously mentioned article.
