[SOLVED] KDE Mouse Settings panel empty when using X11 evdev driver

Just did a fresh install of Arch and KDE Plasma 6.0.4.

The KDE System Settings Mouse panel worked fine with the default libinput driver, but when switching to evdev (because it works better with my particular mouse) the Mouse panel becomes completely empty.

When launching systemsettings from Konsole, I see this message: kcm_mouse: Not able to select appropriate backend.

I'd interpret that to mean I've forgotten to install some package, but I can't figure out what. More likely, this is a weird regression in KDE 6 since I used evdev with KDE 5 and didn't have this issue.

Has anyone else encountered this? Thanks.
