can't access tty after motherboard replacement [SOLVED]

I had some issues with the motherboard and I had to replace it. due to some issue at the service centre, it took over two months to get it fixed. I am using a Dell Inspiron 7591. I put back the same old SSD and when I try to boot into the computer, I see the bootloader menu to select Arch from the list but when I am past that I get the following error,

I used Google Lens image to text to copy and paste the error message down here so some characters might be misplaced.

[ 0.091416] x86/cpu: SGX disabled by BIOS.

You are now being dropped into an emergency shell.
sh: can't access tty: job control turned off
[rootfs ~]#

Based on a google search I tried following the steps and trying to fix it but for all the commands I get

sh: command: not found

I got command not found error for mdev, pacman, mkinitcpio, lsblk, poweroff, reboot and most other commands that I have tried

this is what I have inside /dev directory

  • AUTOFS
