[SOLVED] AUR connection reset by peer

I have been getting the following error for 24 hours now when I'm doing `yes | yay -Syu`. Why?

:: Synchronizing package databases...
 core is up to date
 extra is up to date
 multilib is up to date
 chaotic-aur is up to date
:: Searching AUR for updates...
:: Searching databases for updates...
 -> 1 error occurred:
	* request failed: Get "https://aur.archlinux.org/rpc?arg%5B%5D=bytehound-bin&arg%5B%5D=bytehound-bin-debug&arg%5B%5D=cgroup_event_listener&arg%5B%5D=hexcurse&arg%5B%5D=hexcurse-debug&arg%5B%5D=ibus-avro-git&arg%5B%5D=ibus-m17n&arg%5B%5D=ibus-m17n-debug&arg%5B%5D=paccache-hook&arg%5B%5D=yay-debug&type=info&v=5": read tcp 10.200.31.250:45248->95.216.144.15:443: read: connection reset by peer

How do I solve it? Pinging aur.archlinux.org works fine.

Re: [SOLVED] AUR connection reset by peer

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/143 … -peer-mean
This has nothing to do with ICMP requests working.

Try again, i tested 'curl  -v 'https://aur.archlinux.org/' > /dev/null' and got an RST, then tried whether it's the user agent, got a connection, tried w/o UA to be sure and got a connection, so in all likelyhood this was temporary.

Fwwi, piping yes into yay for a completely unsupervised udpate incl. the AUR is kinda begging for problems.
