Hello, I am not sure where to start since I have no clue how to diagnose this issue. My DVD player ASUS DRW-24F1MT is making noise in ~3-5 minute intervals.
The sound is like if it is checking if there is drive in the bay and I have not found any solution for this? This is distro specific since it does NOT happen on Windows nor ANY other Linux distro (tried Debian 12 and openSUSE Tumbleweed). At first I came to the conclusion that my Arch installation was set up incorrectly and tested on an Arch based distro (EndeavourOS) yet the problem is still happening. Any idea what could be the cause of this?
