Hi!
I've a problem with a usb mp3 player and with a hdd partition with NTFS file system. When i connect mp3 drive or when i try to access to NTFS partition i get this error messages:
The first time: message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)
The second time: The name org.freedesktop.Hal was not provided by any .services files
Before update i haven't got this errors.
How can i fix it?
Thanks!!

Hi, same problem here

…and here :/ We'll probably have to wait for fix, because "process 7208: Applications must not close shared connections - see dbus_connection_close() docs. This is a bug in the application."

Well, dbus crashed because of a wrong handling of hal. This bug has been fixed. You should update your system. See: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/6358
As for automounting: a bug related to the new dbus version and pmount has been fixed: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/6345 Do the errors go away if you update?
