Problem, after update, with usb drive, digikam and hal

Hi!

I've a problem with a usb mp3 player and with a hdd partition with NTFS file system. When i connect mp3 drive or when i try to access to NTFS partition i get this error messages:

The first time: message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)
The second time: The name org.freedesktop.Hal was not provided by any .services files

Before update i haven't got this errors.

How can i fix it?

Thanks!!

Hal is running but when i try to access the drives hal crash.

If i run ps -e before access i get:

2723 ? 00:00:01 hald
2724 ? 00:00:00 hald-runner
2730 ? 00:00:00 hald-addon-acpi
2741 ? 00:00:00 hald-addon-keyb
2747 ? 00:00:00 hald-addon-stor
.........

And if i run ps -e after try the access i get:

........
2716 ? 00:00:00 dbus-daemon
2730 ? 00:00:00 hald-addon-acpi
2741 ? 00:00:00 hald-addon-keyb
2747 ? 00:00:00 hald-addon-stor

…and here :/ We'll probably have to wait for fix, because "process 7208: Applications must not close shared connections - see dbus_connection_close() docs. This is a bug in the application."

Re: Problem, after update, with usb drive, digikam and hal

Well, dbus crashed because of a wrong handling of hal. This bug has been fixed. You should update your system. See: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/6358

As for automounting: a bug related to the new dbus version and pmount has been fixed: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/6345 Do the errors go away if you update?
