Hello,
I'm using KDE Plasma 6 on Wayland and would like to customize the mouse acceleration level beyond the two options available in the system settings (None or Standard). Is there a way to achieve this?
Here are the technical details of what I've tried so far:
Searched in the KDE Plasma 6 settings: System Settings - Mouse&Touchpad - Mouse - Point Acceleration (None or Standard).
Tried changing the settings via libinput by setting the following environment variables:
export LIBINPUT_ATTR_ACCEL_PROFILE="adaptive"export LIBINPUT_ATTR_ACCEL_SPEED="1.0"When I installed them in
udevadm info /dev/input/event9it's clear that they are there. When executing the command
sudo libinput debug-gui --device=/dev/input/event9 &there is an effect, in the test window the acceleration changes. But in KDE Plasma itself, this has no effect.
Searched on this forum (as on the Internet in general): I found a similar topic on the forum, but I did not find an answer there. In this thread, they configure everything in Xorg via xinput or write about libinput.

Searched the Arch Linux Wiki: I didn't find anything useful about my case (KDE Plasma 6 on Wayland) on the wiki.

Please note that I'm looking to adjust the mouse pointer acceleration, not the sensitivity or DPI settings of the mouse itself.
I read that i can also try using the LEETMOUSE driver, but maybe there is some other way?
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

Not yet at the moment. As far as I remember, LEETMOUSE driver does not work with my combination of Rather Deathadder v3 Pro and Razer HyperPolling Wireless Dongle.
