Hello fellow Arch users,
I've got my hand on a "TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 14 Gen7 (MK1)", a Intel-based 14" laptop with very good Linux support (at least advertised). Now I've got the following problem:
The Laptop has a variable-brightness white keyboard backlight (off, 50%, 100%) and a Fn+Spacebar-shortcut for changing the brightness. Out of the box, this does not work, but after loading the tuxedo drivers (AUR) it kind of does: after the driver installation there is a new entry in the sysfs: /sys/class/leds/white:kbd_backlight/. Also my desktop environment (currently KDE) now shows an overlay, that I cycle between 0%, 50% and 100% keyboard backlight brightness. But: the keyboard stays at 100% illumination!
Furthermore I explored the sysfs and found the following odd behavior: the keyboard shortcut actually changes the values in both
/sys/class/leds/white:kbd_backlight/brightness
/sys/class/leds/white:kbd_backlight/brightness_hw_changed
Still, there is no actual change in the brightness.
Do you know where I could search next?
Thank you in advance!

As this is still an issue for me, I've reported this issue upstream.
