Headphones are detected {And set as the default Audio Device} when no headphones are connected. The Headphone output option is disabled when headphones are connected.
Audio has always been an issue with this device, most of the time it simply doesn't work. Now it does work, I can select the Speakers through Gnome Settings or Phosh's Pull-down Quick Settings. But on reboot it will go back to the Headphone output.
I feel like I just need to fix the headphone detection issue so that it will only display Headphones as an output when headphones are connected. But I can't find any resources on doing that. I've been experimenting with Hackintoshing on a different device, and during that process I had to find the correct layout-id for my sound card so that all of the input/output devices would show up properly. Is there a similar thing with Linux audio?
