This issue started yesterday after I plugged my mouse into my work laptop to browse for a bit while working, my work laptop is ubuntu 20.04 LTS and my main desktop is Arch Linux (btw). My mouse refused to work after a few minutes on my laptop and I just chalked it up to some random driver issue and forgot about it. For reference, the mouse is barely used and I bought it like 6 months ago.
After connecting it to my desktop again, I noticed that my mouse was freezing randomly and reconnecting a few seconds later. Sometimes it would just disconnect and it would not reconnect back at all until I restarted the system. Even weirder, sometimes when my mouse was plugged in the system would refuse to move past the bios splash screen, I'd just disconnect my mouse and it'd work normally again. I have tried everything from reflashing my bios (I updated mobo bios last week, but it was working fine so I don't think that's the root cause), tried changing USB power save rules as recommended in Arch Wiki, tried to install the openrazer driver and changed the polling rate from 8k hz to 1k, even downloaded live image of Fedora to see if mouse behaved properly over there (still froze).
The weirdest thing is that my mouse works just fine usually till this behavior occurs and it goes disconnecting and reconnecting, I'll paste the dmesg output below if anyone has some clue on what's going. I'm hoping it's not the mouse but can't rule it out. These are the usb_power settings for my mouse to turn off auto suspend
