Hello,
I am trying to set an ICC profile for my installation of Arch Linux. My system is Framework 16 with KDE&Wayland. On the wiki page, I saw that I should apply a color profile which is provided as an icm file. I downloaded it, moved to desired folder but I cannot apply it because "colormgr get-devices" does not output anything:
That does not make any sense because my laptop display normally works.
As a result I cannot move forward to "colormgr device-add-profile" section of the wiki.
In KDE settings, I can normally see available profiles but no devices.
Am I missing a package or is there a different way to get the display ID?
I have also tried using kscreen-doctor. It recognizes my display as eDP-1 but setting it as device ID results in "device id 'eDP-1' does not exist"

Wayland does not have standard color management yet (they are working on it, but I have many doubts). For now you can set an ICC profile in the Kscreen section of KDE settings. If it is an ICC derived from X11 it will not work well. I have not tried creating an ICC in Wayland, to see if it works, because I am still using X11 until Wayland has standard support for color management.

Yes, thank you. Setting it via the display settings in KDE works. However, when I tried using colord in the KDE settings, I got the exact same issue as in CLI.
I have also tried a command from argyllcms , name "dispwin" and that also ran successfully.
It’s a shame that wayland does not support, however I pretty much have to use it due to fractional scaling.
Also, it's a shame your method is not written in the wiki. I will add it once I come home.
