Yesterday (21 June 2024), the cmus package in the Arch repositories has been updated to version 2.10.0-5. This seems to have broken the interaction with ncurses: cmus appears entirely monochrome and does not properly react to resizing the window (tested with both alacritty and foot, as well as in a bare tty; even with entirely removing ~/.config/cmus). That issue might be related to #1287, so maybe the binary package has not been built properly. Is there anything I can do about it, apart from compiling the 2.11.0 from Github myself?

Have the same problem (tested in kitty, alacritty & xterm). Monochrome and total mess in scratchpad in my i3wm.
Have tried to make 2.11 - works fine so far ...

Can confirm, had the same problem, got around it by changing the pkgbuild to build from the 2.11 source. The package has been flagged as out-of-date for some time now.

Same experience. Is there any reason not to use the 2.11 release on github? Perhaps a bug or something. I mean it's not abandoned. If anything, the recent rebuild by the packager started this symptom.
