I am having a weird issue while using various tiling window managers such as i3, sway, hyprland, dwm, awesome, and qtile on both Xorg and Wayland. Whenever I play games, I notice a choppy picture quality. Interestingly, when I cap the FPS at around 58, the gameplay becomes smooth. However, if the FPS drops below this threshold, stuttering occurs. Strangely, when I switch to GNOME, I do not experience this problem. I prefer not to switch desktop environments just to play games. Despite achieving high FPS, even reaching 70-80 in Cyberpunk, the gameplay remains unsmooth if I use a tiling window manager.
