After my latest arch update openMW stopped working.
I *think* it has to do with the ffmpeg update.

Some more notes:
- compiling openmw-git failes (suspect ffmep as well).
- the downloaded binary from openmw does work.
Thanks for any hints,
Alexander.

- the downloaded binary from openmw does work.
that is probably because it comes with its own statically linked libraries.

correct, see https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/openmw/-/issues/8035
I am working on a git build against ffmpeg 4.4 , but haven't found time to playtest it yet.
Please file an archlinux bugreport for openmw 0.48 at https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/ … w/-/issues so arch devs become aware of the issue.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Hi Lone Wolf, I build the new version and it now works again (the AUR openmw-git version).
Thanks!

Extra/openmw has also been adjusted and should work fine again.
Maybe you can test openmw 0.48.0-8 ?

Yes, just checked.
I can confirm that 0.48.0-8 works again as well!
