Why was the widevine package removed?

I used the fixed-up widevine so from this package:
https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/?h=widevine

With good success on my Arch Linux ARM installation for Kodi as it works around some missing bits in relation to glibc (previously there was also glibc-widevine which contained patches to be able to load the un-"fixed" widevine so as are applied in e.g. LibreELEC).

Is there any way to find out why this package isn't present in the AUR anymore?
