I am trying to download Waydroid
Failed to load binder driver
modprobe: FATAL: Module binder_linux not found in directory /lib/modules/6.9.6-arch1-1
Binder node "binder" for waydroid not found
I have downloaded binder_linux-dkms with,
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/binder_linux-dkms.git
cd binder_linux-dkms
makepkg -s
It still does not work.
In the /lib/modules/6.9.6-arch1-1/ , nothing has changed.
i have tried,
modprobe binder_linux-dkms
modprobe: FATAL: Module binder_linux-dkms not found in directory /lib/modules/6.9.6-arch1-1
insmod binder_linux-dkms [args]
insmod: ERROR: could not load module binder_linux-dkms: No such file or directory
Nothing works.
Thanks in Advance

Third. I am pretty sure you do not want to run makepkg as root. Not much point in running git as root either.

This looks like an interesting project. There are a few 'apps' I need for a couple things that I don't want on my phone (for example, I was gifted a photo frame that requires an 'app' to load pictures to it.)
When I get home, I'll try to build it and test it on Sway and Plasma and will let you know how it goes.

Did you actually install the package that you built? If so, did the module build at that time?
