[SOLVED] Failed to mount /windows, Dependency failed for Local File Sy

I know a similar issue to this has been posted before. However things here appear to be different. I just got done re-installing arch and it seems I did something wrong on the installation process. So I'll go over the parts where I believe I did something wrong.

I have 3 partitions
nvme0n1p1 which is windows 10
nvme0n1p2 which I have no idea as to what it is, its like 500mb
nvme0n1p3 which is the root partition

after formatting the root partition, I mount p3 to /mnt and right after that I mount p1 to /mnt/windows. After that I continue doing what the wiki tells me to do, installing firmware, some essential packages like nm and grub. Fast forward, I finish up with grub's configuration, it detects all partitions, I think to myself: "all good". So I just exit chroot and reboot.

Thats when I got the error. I tried to follow the instructions on another similar issue but, as I said above, there are differences and I didn't wanna do something "bad". So here I am.

Any help is appreciated!

Remove the entry from the fstab and see the 3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.

(it's the most likely cause why mounting the partition fails and will cause you more trouble)

I miss the ESP - is this a legacy/csm boot?
as for the 500mb p2: that's the windows recovery partition

@Foxos
6.9 comes with the new ntfs driver - no need for fuse ntfs-3g
