[SOLVED]Backup /home folder in case breaking system

There was a backup option in fstab in the 0 1 field. Where exactly does this backup to?

In previous distros (`/dev/stab randomNumber of / randomNumber`) it would hang. So I broke the system and it couldn't even boot. Never happened in Arch smile But could it happen and let's say it did, how can I access this backed up /home?

And how do I back up a specific file?

No backup options in fstab... see man fstab.  these are fs_freq and fs_passno

If you want backups you need to setup something yourself, see: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/System … nce#Backup
