Nvidia issues on 1 monitor only (hyprland)

Hello everyone. Im having some heavy flickering issues in VSCode (that I know of).

I tried some options, like the Electron fixes (both in command line and env variables), and --disable-gpu. Nothing worked

the strangest thing is that: it works (almost) flawlessly on my secondary monitor (an old HD monitor)
another strange thing: "cava" works on waybar on my second monitor, but not on my main monitor. "cava" works on both monitors outside of waybar

Also tried setting up the monitors manually, no avail. Setup like:
monitor=HDMI-A-1,1920x1080, 0x0, 1
monitor=DP-1, 1366x7689, 1920x0, 1
(using the "preferred,auto" also doesnt fix the problem)

Everything is updated. GPU works flawless on Windows and on Ubuntu 24.04 (with hyprland as well, using basically the same configs), so I dont think its a hardware problem (either monitor or cables)

Some more info:
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 1650
nvidia-smi output: version 555.58.02
using "nvidia" package (not noveau)

(edit because I forgot to ask)
should I try installing the noveau drivers? do I need to remove the old drivers first?
(edit 2)
Also, cant paste anything into VSCode. Copy functions as it should
