Nomacs error while loading shared libraries

Hi guys, tried installing nomacs from github following the steps but i get this error when running the program :

nomacs: error while loading shared libraries: libnomacsCore.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Why could this be?

Re: Nomacs error while loading shared libraries

Likely because it's installed outside a path the linker looks. Why wouldn't you have used one of these? https://aur.archlinux.org/packages?K=nomacs

Re: Nomacs error while loading shared libraries

Thanks for the reply!

Ok so I basically moved the file that it was searching from /usr/local/lib/file to /usr/lib and now it works.
But is there a way to force the linker to look through the local path?
