Hi,
I'm new to archlinux, but using its now for about 4 month. After installing it, with Kernel 2.6.18.x my usb dvbt card "nova-t usb2" runs nearly out of the box, with setting up the right firmware.
But after a while or some updates (sadly I missed the exact moment, maybe after upgradeing to 2.6.19.x) the udev doesn't ask for "dvb-usb-nova-t-usb2-01.fw" but for "dvb-usb-nova-t-usb2-02.fw". I have renamed the old fw and download a new fw which was labeled as "dvb-usb-nova-t-usb2-02.fw" and the card seems to be detected by udev again.
But Kaffeine dosen't find any channels from now:
dmegs:
dvb-usb: found a 'Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T usb2' in warm state.
dvb-usb: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream to the software demuxer.
DVB: registering new adapter (Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T usb2).

DVB: registering frontend 0 (DiBcom 3000MC/P)...

dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 100 msecs.

usbcore: registered new interface driver dvb_usb_nova_t_usb2
usb 1-2: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2

And Kaffeine Errors?

With PCLinuxOS and exactly the same hardware, the card works fine like first time with arch...

Hi,
I have backgrade to default 2.6.18.4-Arch Kernel and it runs out of the box again.
With the following changes:
- Card is now labled as "DiBcom 3000P/M-C DVB-T"
- udev search for the .01 firmware again
Whats up with the 2.6.19?
Is there a chance for my dvbt card?
Greeting
