videos are not palying in browsers(local videos also)

i use brave browser and suddenly noticed that videos are palying choppingly, so i rebooted the system after doing a "sudo pacman -Syu" to resolve it but saw that it got worse than before the videos were not playing in any browser. Audio files are playing perfectly but videos aren't, in youtube audio goes forward but the video either freezes and buffers or it goes completly out of sync with audio

i tried the command "pacman -Syu pipewire-media-session" suggested on

but it doesn't seem to work

local files when played with mpv media player play smoothly but when opened with vlc are choppy
