kernel26-mm

Hello Arch community!

Lately I have been very interested in using the linux kernel-mm tree (currently 2.6.20-rc6-mm3). Does anone have any experience with this? Must I compile it myself or can I get pacman to get this for me?

I have tried searching through aur aswell as the wiki but to no avail. Even searching "kernel26-mm" on this forum yields few threads, some last responded to in 2004.

Preferably I'd like to run the latest kernel26-mm tree whilst keeping my current ARCH kernel (2.6.19, soon to be 2.6.20), and just have an option in Grub to choose the -mm over the default and fallback kernels.

If anyone could shed any light on this subject or point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!

Re: kernel26-mm

There was a kernel-mm package but it was removed 2 weeks ago because no devs were interested in maintaining it.  As a starting point, you can get the PKGBUILD and build files from cvs: http://cvs.archlinux.org/cgi-bin/viewcv … ra#dirlist
