I am facing a strange issue with my touchpad. It becomes very laggy randomly while I am using it. Initially, I thought it was a hardware issue because I had experienced this problem sometimes on Fedora as well (rarely). To troubleshoot, I booted into Windows, and the touchpad worked fine without any input lag. However, when I switched back to Arch Linux, the touchpad would initially work fine for a while, but then the lag would return.
I tried restarting the system and looking for drivers since I recently switched to Arch Linux, but I couldn't find any relevant drivers. Yesterday, when the issue occurred again, I put my laptop into suspend mode and then resumed it. Surprisingly, the touchpad started working without any lag. Whenever this issue arises, I put my laptop to suspend mode, and somehow the touchpad starts working normally. I am honestly unable to figure out what is causing this problem and how it gets fixed, not after a restart but by suspending the laptop.
