XFCE4.4.0: Notification Daemon Popup Position Failure

On a fresh installation, I just found out, that the configuration of the position of the notification daemon popup does not work. I am talking about the setting in Menu -> Configuration -> Notification Settings, where you can choose the notification position and select preview. What ever I choose from the selection list, the popup always only appears in the bottom right corner, and I get the following error message in the virtual console:

** Message: Unable to reload the daemon: Method "ReloadSettings" with signature "" on interface "org.freedesktop.Notifications" doesn't exist

Strangely this was working correctly, when I tested it on a previous XFCE4.4.0 installation.

Is this a problem because of the recent dbus release?

Anybody knows how to fix this issue?

(I know it is not a real problem, but nevertheless I hate it, if something is not working right )
