Firefox/Bon Echo annoyance?

I'm not sure if this belongs in this "newbie forum", but since I'm a newbie, that's where I'll start.
I installed firefox 2.0.0.1-2 today on a new Arch 7.2 system.  I set my home page to be Yahoo
(although that probably doesn't matter), and whenever I click on the "Home" button in the toolbar,
Firefox takes me to Yahoo but it also opens another tab labeled "Firefox -- Rediscover the Web" which
looks like an advertisement for Firefox 2.0.  So, if I bounce around a few website and repeatedly
return to my home page, I can wind up with 3 or 4 tabs at the "Rediscover the Web" site.  Is there
anyway to turn off that annoying advertisement tab(s)?  Is this version some "trial" version of
Firefox?  Should I install an "official" package somehow?

Thanks.

Go to edit /preferences/main and make sure the home page is set properly.  I've never had this problem with FF and I'm using the latest 2.0.0.1

Re: Firefox/Bon Echo annoyance?

Thanks.  That was the problem.  Apparently when I clicked on "Use Current Page" as my home page, it INSERTED before the default "Rediscover the Web" url rather than replacing what was there; so there were two links in the home page field.
