I and many others with an AMD GPU are experiencing an issue where the top of the monitor flickers with the latest kernel (6.10.x). I believe it happens with 165hz and above since using 144 or lower doesn't have any issues. I know there is a patch available but it needs to be applied manually. My question is does anyone know (devs of kernel or anyone else) will the patch be applied and rolled out soon or do I need to apply it myself?

This will be in the next stable kernel 6.10.3 (see my comment here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … #p2186927), which is expected to be release on August 2nd, so likely it will be in the repos in 2-5 days: https://lore.kernel.org/stable/20240729 … 9b@gregkh/
If you want you can already test a release candidate for the next stable kernel you can find one here:
sudo pacman -U https://pkgbuild.com/\~gromit/linux-bisection-kernels/linux-6.10.3rc1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
