I am using WiFi to connect to the internet, and am currently receiving a clutter of messages in dmesg (and also the terminal when using CRTL+ALT+F3). These all take the form of
rtw_8821ce 0000:06:00.0: failed to send h2c commandor
rtw_8821ce 0000:06:00.0: failed to get tx report from firmwareor
rtw_8821ce 0000:06:00.0: firmware failed to leave lps stateDespite these messages, WiFi works perfectly fine.
These messages are clustered every 2 seconds typically (sometimes longer).
The last message might have indicated some issue with the power state of the WiFi antenna, so I tried putting
[connection]
wifi.powersave = 2in "/etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/default-wifi-powersave-on.conf" but that did not affect the messages.
"sudo lspci -k" lists the network controller I am using as
06:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Wireless Network Adapter
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device 87ae
Kernel driver in use: rtw_8821ce
Kernel modules: rtw88_8821ce, wl, 8821ceTo be clear, I am using a 5800X with an Asus A620 Tuf Gaming Wifi, and using the stock network adapter and antenna. I am currently on Linux Zen version 6.10.2.zen1-2, and have rtl8821ce-dkms-git version 1.0.5.r172.gf119398-1 installed.
