If I play YouTube video with MPV, it works fine if I play it from the beginning, but when I play it from the middle, I can't see anything.

Play what youtube video (codec, live stream) how exactly (pre-downloaded or via yt-dlp)?
Is this a regression? YT is fudgign w/ the video delivery and yt-dlp "breaks" every other day (and the package is flagged out of date right now, there was a new release yesterday)

Just any regular YouTube video, not live stream, I watch it via yt-dlp with MPV.

Noticed this too for a long time but has nothing to do with Arch. It is just google/youtube making it hard for 3rd party tools to download their stuff.
I suggest opening a issue on yt-dlp github project

URL? mpv --start? Jump there w/ the UI? Does it happend w/o HW acceleration?
